My name is Shunka and I'm a neutered, male Chinook/Husky cross born in 1993. My boy, Rick, a purebred Skoglund born in 1982, is my best friend and he takes me with him everywhere. I'm a decent sled puller and do well with my teammates, Mac and Castine. That's me standing up in the back of the truck after a good sled outting.

Rick takes me on big hikes and to a great Maine pond for swimming.

Rick gets me to fetch and fetch and fetch and fetch... I never tire!

I don't even mind when Rick dresses me up like a reindeer...
